Kirtland's Warbler (Magee Marsh, Ohio)

Visitor's to Crane Creek State Park on Friday, May 14, 2010, during the International Migratory Bird Day event, were treated to views of a Kirtland's Warbler. Alerted by blogs and tweets, birders from dozens of states flocked to the southern shore of Lake Erie to catch glimpses of this rare migrant – the world's population was only about 200 individuals a few years ago. Bob and Mary Salomon captured glimpses of this endangered bird in a brief video.
